IT Asset Disposition & Value Recovery Services

Three pillars of service — secure disposition, value recovery, and full lifecycle logistics — managed under one roof in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Pillar 1

Secure Disposition & Data Destruction

Every data-bearing device that passes through Delta is sanitized in accordance with NIST 800-88 guidelines. Each device receives an individual wipe certificate confirming the method, result, and date. For drives that cannot be sanitized due to mechanical failure, we coordinate certified physical destruction through downstream partners.

At the end of every project, Delta delivers a professional closeout package — your auditable proof that every device was handled securely and responsibly.

Data security standard: NIST Special Publication 800-88 — Guidelines for Media Sanitization. Individual certificate generated per device. Failed drives escalated to physical destruction with separate certificate.

  • NIST 800-88 data sanitization on every data-bearing device
  • Individual wipe certificate per device with serial number, method, and result
  • Hard drive shredding coordination for failed or high-security drives
  • Full chain-of-custody documentation from pickup to downstream certificate
  • Certificate of destruction for every project
  • Professional closeout report delivered within 5 business days
  • Closeout documentation to support your HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS, and FERPA compliance
  • Downstream recycling through R2-certified partners only
Pillar 2

Value Recovery & Remarketing

Not everything that comes off a corporate floor belongs in a shredder. Equipment with remaining market value is tested, graded, refurbished where needed, and remarketed through professional channels. The result: your organization recovers revenue from retired assets instead of paying disposal fees.

Delta purchases surplus, off-lease, and end-of-life IT equipment at competitive prices. Whether you have 25 laptops from an office refresh or 500 desktops from a corporate migration, we provide a fast valuation and handle pickup, data security, and remarketing — so disposition becomes a revenue line, not a cost center.

How value recovery works: Equipment is received → data is sanitized → functional devices are tested and graded on cosmetic and performance scales → resaleable equipment is remarketed through wholesale, retail, and broker channels → settlement report is delivered with transparent accounting.

  • Equipment buyback programs with upfront valuation
  • Surplus IT purchasing — desktops, laptops, servers, networking, storage
  • Off-lease return processing for leasing companies and MSPs
  • Functional testing, cosmetic grading, and refurbishment
  • Multi-channel remarketing (wholesale, retail, broker, export)
  • Revenue sharing and transparent settlement reporting
  • Trade-in programs for organizations upgrading equipment
  • CapEx recovery support — turn retired assets into budget offset
Pillar 3

Logistics & Lifecycle Management

Delta manages the full lifecycle of your IT equipment retirement — from the first discovery call to the final closeout report. Every project gets a dedicated point of contact, a clear timeline, and documented chain of custody from the moment equipment leaves your facility.

For organizations with recurring refresh cycles, Delta offers program agreements that maintain consistent processes, preferred scheduling, and predictable project management across every engagement.

  • On-site pickup and secure transport from your facility
  • Serialized intake — every device logged by make, model, and serial number
  • Warehouse processing in Delta's 10,000 sq ft Alpharetta facility
  • Downstream recycling coordination with R2-certified partners
  • Dedicated project management from intake to closeout
  • Recurring refresh program support with consistent processes
  • Office clearance and site cleanup for relocations and closures
  • Flexible scheduling — single pickups or ongoing programs
